DR SURESH TALWAR is one of the senior most consultant dermatologists in Lucknow. He did his M.B.B.S. from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University in 1977 and his M.D. from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 1985. He served in the Indian Army with distinction and honour for 15 years from 1979 to 1994 and thereafter took premature release as Lieutenant Colonel. Since then he has been actively engaged in dermatology practice in Lucknow.
Among his other achievements, Dr Suresh Talwar, was elected the president of INDIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION, LUCKNOW for the year 2009. He has also been elected as the president of All India Skin Specialist Association (IADVL). He was also elected for the post of national vice president for IADVL (skin specialist association) for the year 2002- 2003. He was instrumental in organizing biggest ever medical conference in Lucknow -DERMACON -2010, all India skin specialist conference. There are many scientific papers and text book chapters to his credit.
Dr. Suresh Talwar has given vision to his dream of setting up an advanced and exhaustive dermatology institute under one roof in the city of Lucknow. He currently heads one centers in Lucknow, located at Indira Nagar. His dream of providing quality health care to people at very affordable cost has been largely successful and he is still very active in his pursuit of making Talwar Skin Centre, the best center for dermatology in India.
His team of five full time doctors and other support staff not only offer the best of dermatologic treatment, but also set international standards in advanced cosmetological care.
